I was in orchestra during middle school because it was either that or band (and man violin is cooler). We were all over-tired from having just gotten back from a long trip (or were in class and just bored waiting for the teacher: memory is subjective) and in the back of the class this kid Paul was uber-bored. He decided to jump over his double-bass repeatedly for no reason. On jump 2, he landed in it feet first, utterly destroying the no-doubt-crappy-but-still-pricey instrument.
