…how would this look as a new shirt?
As in, would you actually buy a shirt with this design on it? Why or why not? What kind of designs would you like? Operation “Make some money with this darn comic” continues (putting some ads up was step one) and I’d like your feedback!
I don’t know about those colors for the octopuses, specifically Laura, i don’t think green, specifically that shade, is good for octopuses. The other girl octopus’s color is ok and i guess Angsty is alright, but I feel that Laura’s color just doesn’t work, or at least that minty shade.
I think you’re better off without colors altogether. Just black outlines work best for shirts.
Here’s what I’m thinking: if Laura is a Red Pacific octopus(it’s there on your About page), shouldn’t she be red?
Yeah, I do think green doesn’t go well with octopuss… octopusses… octopii, too. I think she would go well with a dark red.
I do like the background, though.
Oh dear, I seem to have set off a COLOUR CONTROVERSY.
I’ve kind of thought of Laura as green for a while, although it’s true I did once think of her as red (there’s an old piece of art kicking around somewhere of a pinkish version of her). I dunno though, she doesn’t really seem like the pink/red type to me…perhaps a shade of maroon/purple?
I dunno I kinda like green Laura.
maybe a more olive green for laura? although I’d also be favorably disposed to good old black n’ white all around.
Wow, I really don’t like the colours. Sorry, but it justs looks wrong. I mean, I guess the orange girl is ok, but angsty’s hair looks too light for that skin and laura doesn’t look like laura at all. Maybe try like a magenta/purple colour for her? or just go with good ol’ black ‘n’ white.
